Wasted Time?

The last 6 months I have been offline from most of my social media platforms, mainly because I realised just how much time I was wasting seeing my newsfeed filling up with stuff recommended by the said platform.

Also noticing that every time I go out, everyone just seems to be stuck to their phones. So much so that, even watching 4 to 6 people having lunch or dinner together, not one person is having a conversation with the other.

So what is the point of going out to have a meal, you might as well send out an invite saying lets meet up to just watch each other using our mobile phone.

Seems to be an addiction and my view is there is nothing that important on your phone that needs your 24/7 time.

The most productive and successful people do not get sucked into social media, they have a purpose and are focused on what they want to achieve.

Why do anything that is going to emotionally drain you, your time is a valuable commodity and should never be wasted.

Nowadays people start having anxiety if they see that their post has not received enough likes, do you ever see successful people worry about crap like that?

Most news feeds are filled with so much negativity, be it murders, the economy, depression which does nothing but make you feel negative.

When you want to be successful, rubbish like that won’t every get you there. Do you see the likes of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Dwaine Johnson hanging around with people who want to go nowhere in life, of course not?

They know their time matters, when your time matters, success awaits.

It’s that simple.

To your success.
