Keep Moving When Nothing Makes Sense

I want to tell you something that most motivational speakers won't tell you.

Sometimes, you're not going to have a clue what you're doing. The plan won't make sense. The direction will feel wrong. The path you were so sure about yesterday will look completely foreign today.

And that's normal.

When the Map Disappears

I've built businesses from nothing. I've lost everything and rebuilt from scratch. And I can tell you — at no point during any of those journeys did I have a crystal-clear picture of where I was going.

People see the end result and assume there was some grand master plan. There wasn't. Most of the time, I was just putting one foot in front of the other and hoping the ground was still there.

That's the reality of growth. It doesn't come with a manual. It doesn't come with guarantees. And it certainly doesn't wait until you feel ready.

The Myth of Clarity

We've been sold this idea that you need to "find your purpose" before you can start. That you need to see the whole staircase before you take the first step. That clarity comes first and action comes second.

It's the other way round.

Clarity comes from movement. You don't sit still and wait for the answers to appear. You start walking. You start doing. And somewhere along the way, the fog lifts and you realise you've been heading in the right direction all along.

I've never met a successful person who had it all figured out before they started. Not one. They all had the same story: "I didn't know what I was doing, but I kept going anyway."

Something Is Shifting

When everything feels confusing, when the plan falls apart, when you can't see two steps ahead — that's not a sign that you're failing. That's a sign that something is shifting.

Growth doesn't feel comfortable. It feels disorienting. It feels like chaos. Because you're becoming something you've never been before, and your old framework doesn't fit anymore.

That feeling of being lost? It's not the end. It's the middle. And the middle is where the real transformation happens.

Trust the Process

I know "trust the process" sounds like something you'd find on a Pinterest board. But there's a reason it keeps being repeated. Because it's true.

Not everything needs to make sense right now. Not every question needs an answer today. Some of the best things that ever happened to me came from moments where I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I just kept showing up. I kept working. I kept moving.

And eventually, it clicked.

Take the Step

If you're stuck right now, waiting for permission, waiting for clarity, waiting for the perfect moment — stop waiting.

The perfect moment doesn't exist. The clarity you're looking for is on the other side of the action you're afraid to take.

Take the step. Trust that the ground will be there. And if it's not? You'll learn to build it as you go.

That's what resilience is. Not having all the answers. Just refusing to stop.

To your success.
