Don't Panic!

During some of the darkest periods in my life, I used to wake up to panic and anxiety attacks.

I did not even know someone could have a panic or anxiety attack until I experienced them for little over 18 months.

Eventually I changed my routine, most of you who know me well know that I go to sleep at 1am and wake at 5am.

Its force of habit really through a period of insomnia but I have learned to adjust in these 4 hours.

When I wake, the first thing I do is read the sign on my bedside that says, “something wonderful is going to happen to you today”

Then I read my gratitude list for all the things I am grateful for, i.e. another day of life, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, my friends, my health etc.

I don’t drink coffee but do like just 1 cup of tea a day, whilst brewing I listen to a 30 minute recording of Les Brown, then I watch 30 minutes of Michael McIntyre for some laughs, laughter boosts your immune system for 24 hours.

Then out for a morning walk for 20 minutes, clear my head and write down today's goals and put the plan in place to make them happen, then get on with my day serving others as best as I can.

My father used to always say, if you fail to plan, then plan to fail.

Comment below with how you start your day?

To your success.
