Why You Should Never Hide Your Struggles as a Leader
My father used to say, don’t hide your scars as they make you who you are!
It’s easy for any of us to put on a mask and protect our image and convince ourselves that everything is okay.
However, how can you overcome any weakness if you don’t bring it out into the open.
Just remember that you don’t have to have it all together as every day you are still a working progress.
Yes, you may have made mistakes, you might not be where you should be but that doesn’t mean you will be stuck there.
Don’t hide your struggle, showing people you are vulnerable and need some help doesn’t disqualify you from being you or who you truly are meant to be.
Vulnerability is a bridge that allows you to build a connection with people who see the real you, it does not mean you are weak.
Out of your vulnerabilities comes your strengths as it is your most accurate measure of how much courage you have by being who you really are.
Social Media is full of fakes that even China would deny making.
Don’t be one of them, when you need to reach out and feel no one hears you, reach out to me and I will happily listen and help.
To your success.
