Destined to Meet

My father used to say that when you meet someone, there is always a reason behind it.


Either you need them to change your life or you’re the one that will change theirs.


These past 10 or so days, over 600 people have connected with me on Linkedin.


Firstly, I am eternally grateful to them all and I have personally sent a message to each and every one of them which took me the best part of 4 days.


Many I have also spoken with on the phone so I can learn more about them, what they do, but never have I contacted anyone to sell anything!


I love giving my time, hearing other people’s stories without having any hidden agenda and sometimes you can end up being more connected to strangers than anyone else.


For me, I always wake up every morning believing today is going to be better than yesterday and no matter how busy I am, I make the time for everyone.


Will Smith once said, never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling with something, just that some people are better at hiding it than others.


So by giving my time, it allows me to bring a little joy to someone’s life no matter what they may be going through as I love to become the bright light for others, when their world becomes dark.
